Upstanding Comedy can provide a fun selection of workshops for pupils of all ages. We can help draw out skills or deal with specific issues according to the school’s curriculum. Comedy is especially efficient at increasing confidence in young people, while the use of characters and sketches can help them express themselves with humour in a positive way.
We know that every school and college is different and so we will design each course and workshop to suit your establishment. Here are some examples of what we could offer...
- A 90 minute workshop offering a selection of games to encourage group work and public speaking.
- An afternoon which helps students create characters and scenes which they can then perform in front of the group.
- Three hours is enough to help young people talk about their own funny stories and learn performance techniques to help articulation of feelings.
